Interior design for Mr. Suresh, Ernakulam

This was an interior renovation of one of our very first residential projects from 15 years ago. The client requested a modern reinvention of the space, with a more open link between the interior and exterior, by including more greenery and openness in the facade.

The site is 35 cents, surrounded by greenery The built space was initially 2800 sqft, which was increased to 3400 sqft. the site landscape was also planned and designed accordingly, keeping the bigger trees. The interiors were designed in such a way, as to maximize natural light and ventilation.

We used a combination of wood, natural stone, and plants to create an earthy yet modern finish. The open-to-sky shower area was created as an iconic aspect of the design. The design comes together with the central courtyard, which is also adjacent to a traditional swing cot.

Dining + Kitchen

Mr. Ajith Residence

This is a 3200 sqft residential interior project, at Kollam. The client requested a minimal, and simple design. The residence is single-storeyed with a beautiful deck towards the outdoors in the dining area. the materials used are mostly wood, concrete, and brick, with earthy tones like green, brick red, and beige.

The plan is very open with minimal internal walls. The rooms are separated mostly by partitions rather than solid construction, which creates a feeling of unity and harmony. There is also a courtyard in the interiors which is open to the sky with a pergola. The verandah boasts of an integrated green space that juxtaposes nature with the built environment.
